What our clients say
CPARS Excerpt
"This was a complex design build construction project to replace the generator system and the fire alarm system in the Ketchikan Federal Building.
The contractor was very knowledgeable in the requirements for these projects. The Contractor had the expertise to hire exceptional subcontractors who were knowledgeable in the requirements of the contract and knowledgeable in working in rural Alaskan towns, where supplies are not available, housing is hard to come by, transportation is not reliable, etc.
The contractor went above the contract requirements to work with the GSA Fire Life Safety SME to complete all requirements for the fire alarm for this 6 story building.
The acceptance of the fire alarm included submittal and approval of drawings, marking of devices, device approval, and testing on site - which lasted for 2 weeks. The Contractor remained professional at all times, completed the project to satisfaction of the Government, completed contractual requirements in a timely manner.
I would highly recommend this contractor for future work."
~ Amy Heusser, Senior Contracting Officer, GSA (General Service Administration)

"Orion Construction is a very capable firm. They are organized and communicate well with clients. Experiences from their ownership to project managers and superintendents to their billing office staff have always been positive. This was our first project with them and we have since awarded a second contract. Both projects have met our expectations.
As the Director of Public Works and Capital Projects I now consider Orion Construction as a preferred contractor."
~ Scott Curtin, Director of Public Works and Capital Projects City of Kenai
"Orion Construction was awarded the Ben Boeke Ice Arena repair project in December 2021 through the public competitive bid process. The project scope was repair of various lateral structural steel bracing, CMU cracks, and drywall replacement of damage incurred during the Nov 30th 2018 Earthquake in Anchorage.
Notably, the performance demonstrated by Orion Construction to tackle the complexities of the project interfacing with Structural Engineers, Architectural Design, Permitting, and Inspection entities was outstanding. The project was completed in March 2022 both under budget, and much earlier than anticipated. The employees at Orion Construction are cooperative, professional, adaptive, and skillful. Congratulations, on a project well executed."
